First off, I am very excited to be a part of the team!
A little bit about myself: I am a happily married, working, mother of 2 and a very avid runner! My oldest son is 2 and I have a new 7 week old baby boy.
I’ve run for years, all the way through both pregnancies, 3 miles on each due date, and recently a half marathon at 5 months pregnant. I really enjoy racing all distances from 5k’s to the marathon. I’ve actually trained for 3 marathons, but only ran 1 because I got pregnant 2 out of the 3 times. My boys were born to be runners!
I started running again 3 weeks ago, just a month after my csection. I just signed up for the GR marathon too. Right now, I’m still on maternity leave, sleeping almost 5 whole hours a night (this is very exciting), nursing my newborn every 3 hours around the clock, and potty training my 2 year old.
It’s going to be a long road back but I’m slowly trying to get there.
