When school starts for me at the end of the month I’m really going to miss having time to do some of my favorite work outs. These next 2 weeks are going to be really important for me in terms of training. On the 27th I have my first triathlon everrr! It’s a little different than the usual because instead of swimming I will be kayaking 2 miles! I think it will be fun and exciting, but still nerve racking because of my lack of experience! My boyfriend and I are taking a week off of work and heading up to Sheboygan State park for some camping/biking/kayaking and just hanging out all around that area! TWO days after we race I start school back up again (
The only good part of summer being almost over is that I get to start coaching again! I currently coach middle school volleyball and soccer. I am really hoping to get a high school basketball job as well, which would keep me really busy in the winter! Coaching keeps me active and in touch with my competitive side. I love working with kids and sharing my knowledge and skills of some of my favorite sports!
On September 10 I have the Reed’s Lake Tri which I am sure will come up before I know it! A whole bunch of my family and friends are going to come out and watch, so hopefully that will help me get through it! Also I think my boyfriend/priority health teammate and I are going to do an Adventure Race in October so that will be fun and something to look forward to!
