Winter fun!

Time for another year of working out and training!

After Holidays filled with family parties and “get together’s”, I’m finally ready to start a steady work out routine. For Christmas my family got YMCA memberships. My boyfriend also got one so we have been busy trying out all the different YMCA facilities. I love going to the Y and trying their classes. I also like that I can bring my little brother along! My mom has recently lost 20+ lbs on her 90 day challenge. I am very excited for her and now am trying to drag her to the Y with me every chance I can!

I am currently coaching a U14 volleyball team at Impact Dynamic. Coaching is something I truly enjoy doing. I like that I get to interact and share my knowledge with kids that our willing to learn. During each practice I try to work in a good amount of conditioning. On days I find myself too busy to get to the gym, joining them really helps keep me in shape! We focus a lot on abs and jumping abilities. My players often find it beneficial to sing Justin Bieber while doing leg lifts, feel free to try it out ;)

Besides working out I am finishing up with school. I am now going into Law Enforcement and plan on being a police officer. Next fall I will start the academy at GRCC with my boyfriend Brian, who is also a part of team priority health! I also would like to finish up my Bachelor degree in criminal justice at Ferris this summer. It is going to be a busy year but I have a lot to look forward too! I am excited to do a few adventure races this spring and participate in triathlons and runs!

I hope you all had a good year and I am excited to hear how every one’s training is going :)
