Relay for Life

What could be better than doing something good for yourself and for other people at the same time?

In June I will be doing the Relay for Life in the Holland area. I am extreamly excited about this event. We all know someone who has been affected by cancer. We can all relate to this event on a personal level. I heard about the relay and thought this was a good first event for me. You are only required to run/walk for an hour. Well, it started out as an hour. Then my husband wanted to join. That brought me up to two hours. Another team PH Champion, Sammi, is also going to do the event with us. This brings us up to walking or running for 3 hours. What a good work out for ourselves? This is going to be a great first event! This is somthing that can help us get fit and motivated, but yet, raise awareness for a good cause. We get to bring the Priority Health name to this relay!

I am 24 years old. I work full time and just graduated college. I am excited to be a Champion for the second year in a row. I am ready to train harder and get healthier this season! I have so many events I can't wait to participate in!
