Saturday is my first 25K.I am nervous and excited. How did I decide to do this? My daughter and I had done a few 5K races last year and she mentioned doing the 5th/3rd and I thought, sure okay. What was I thinking?! When I started training I thought what have I gotten myself into. As I got further into my training I started to enjoy the long runs; they actually became therapeutic. I started to feel like I could really do this. Then I ran my first 14 mile training run and was surprised on how well I did(for me) and it was then that I knew, I CAN DO THIS! My goal for the race: finish! I won’t have my shirt in time for the race but I know you will all be cheering me on. Can’t wait to tell you how I did!
