Well the first race is out of the way for the year. I did Hawks Island Tri today and had a good race. I finished 122 out of 800 racers today. It was a great race to work out the bugs before the GR Tri next weekend. It was a great course and a very well organized event and a great one first timers as well. If you are thinking of doing one next year and live in the Lansing area this is a great one. I drove in from GR and it was not bad getting in and out on race day.

Congrats on your finish at Hawk Island. I was there as well, although my finish was 442 overall. But on the bright side, I achieved the time goals I set with 32 seconds to spare. Agree, it’s a nice one to kick off the season.
