Harbor Springs Triathlon

We had 4 Priority Health Teammates up and running at the Harbor Springs Triathlon today- great event, great course.  Early morning thunderstorms broke and conditions were sunny and humid. Chuckley Grzanka, Andrew Bowman and myself raced the triathlon.  Dave Ide filled the bike slot on a relay team- with Chuck’s daughter doing the swim and run legs.  Chuck’s son Charlie also did the race.  Hell of a fine day with a lot of green on the course.

Andrew Bowman destroyed the field and was the overall champ.  This is no small feat, this field was the real deal. Early reports have Andrew pretty much taking fastest of all splits.

I sucked it up for 7th overall and won my age group- horrible swim, fine bike and run.

Poor Chuck flatted- but in true form ran in with his daughter- that was cool, and probably one of the nicest things of the day.   Dave Ide- 60 years old.  Destroyed the bike course.  I wish you all could see this humble gentleman go out and destroy people- he is the real deal.  All class.  Very cool to watch.

Great day- great day.   Next race, TC Tri.

Rock it
