I know an Ironman is near when . . .

. . . 3-hour mid-week rides are the norm; and I don’t start to feel OK during my workouts until 1.5 hours into the same; and all my swim sessions start at 3000M; and I “look forward” to a 6 or 7 hour weekend brick . . . followed the next day by a 20 mile run.

For me, that would be sign that death is near! Good luck on the Ironman.

I definitely know there is something wrong when I feel like I haven’t worked out if I only exercise and hour and a half. I tell myself, normal people don’t feel like that. Good luck on your Ironman!
