Last Criterium of the 2012 MBRA season

Well, another great Micigan road season comes to an end-The final event being the Debaets-Devos Memorial Criterium in Auburn Hills on Labor day 2012.  Team Priority Health pretty much took the day off as I was the only Masters rider in the 45+/55+ category and finished upright in a very fast field.  Chelsea Clark was there to represent the women but I had to leave before her race so I don’t know how that came out or if there were more PH women there.

The Michigan Race calander has been awesome for the last several years and continues to improve each year.  Back in the 80′s and 90′s I had to travel all over the midwest to get that many quality events but now I rarely leave the state-except for tomorrow am where I’m off to Bend Oregon for Masters Road Nationals.  The Road Race is an all uphill event – something I’ve never done except for Mt Mitchell in the spring so my main target is the flat criterium!  See you all soon.
