Cross Training

Since I wrapped up my spring racing and the weather has gotten increasingly summer-like, I’ve found myself doing a lot more cross-training activities. I enjoy running, but it’s nice to cut back a bit and have fun working out different ways.I typically lift weights and do some extra cardio while I’m training for races and I try to keep that up. Going outside and adding in tennis and Wednesday morning workouts with the Carpe Diem GR group have got me moving in different exciting ways. I love being able to compete and get a full body workout playing tennis and I love crushing tough workouts with a bunch of people at Carpe Diem. I’m hoping that these workouts will translate well in my running fitness as I prepare for a fall race, but for now, I’ll keep having fun!

    I love your positive attitude when ever we are out on the trails/roads at Run Camp! You and Staci are always smiling and having fun with it!
