Instrumental in My Health Journey…

Who has been the most instrumental person in my health journey?  Me.  I was always athletic and active, but not healthy.  One day, I decided I had had enough and it was time to be both active and healthy.  I pushed past my mental block of not being able to stick to a healthy eating plan and I just did it, one day at a time.  I tried new foods and experimented with new ways to cook so I could enjoy foods in a healthier way.  When I got off track, I just made sure I got back on track with my next meal.  I explored different ways to exercise and fell in love with triathlons.

I made a goal to put myself first so that I could be the best me that I could be.  And that has made me a better wife.  A better mom.  A better daughter.  A better friend.  It has made me a better, more happy me!
