What's your history?
I'm a student at WMU. I road bicycles a lot when I was a child with my dad. I started racing in 2003 and joined Priority Health Cycling Team in 2006. I raced in Ann Arbor Velo Club in 2003 & 2004 and Kalamazoo Bicycle Club/Little Caesars Team in 2005.
Tell us about a memorable race experience.
Sometimes good results come when you least expect them. My best result yet was getting 3rd place in the 2010 Fenton Category 1/2 road race. It was unexpected in that I went into the race intending to sacrifice myself for the team under Dan Lam, but I had the good forture of ending up winning the breakaway.
What are 3 adjectives that describe your approach to your sport?
Consistent. Relaxed. Patient.
What are nutritional tips you use to gain optimum performance?
I almost always drink coffee before riding. I like the taste regardless, but the boost from the caffeine is a nice bonus. It helps me get pumped up for workouts. For general nutrition, there's no secret - eat a lot of fruits and vegatables.

What is your single most important goal this year?
I hope to continue to enjoy the sport and help teammates achieve their goals.

The thing I love most about competing is ____________.
Tactics.
