| Tell us a little bit about yourself. |
I’m 60 years old, retired, with a wonderful wife, children, and grandchildren.
I love outdoor sports especially cycling and xc skate-skiing. My main sport was sea-kayaking which I taught for 15 years and with lots of trips and expeditions to Lake Superior, Olympic Nat.Park, Scotland, Labrador, and Ungava Bay Canada.
I race in cycling road races in mid and northern Michigan , and was happy to win the 60-64 Masters State Championship race at Cherry Roubaix in Traverse City this August.
Also, I’ve done the Nat. 24 hour Challenge four times ,getting my 1000 mile jersey , and I’m getting my feet wet in some Mt Bike racing in the single speed category .
Each year I do a road ride of twice my age near my birthday. I expect this to become quite difficult as I get older! |
