What‘s your history? This is my 2nd year on the Priority Health Nordic Team. I enjoy most sports and regularly run, bike, xc ski and play ice hockey.
Tell us about a memorable race experience. The beginning of last ski season didn't start out how I had hoped. I wasn't getting the results I wanted and was pretty frustrated. My coach/mentor/father-in-law/best friend told me before the start of a race to go out harder then I thought I should. He told me I had the training and was right where I needed to be. I went out hard and had the my best race up until that point. I beat skiers I had never come close to before. It seemed to be a turning point in my xc skiing career. I had reached that next level.
What are 3 adjectives that describe your approach to your sport?healthy, thankful, determined
What are nutritional tips you use to gain optimum performance?I look forward to the times I treat myself with a nice cold chocolate milk after a hard workout. It helps with the recovery. I also swear by Cytomax during training and competition as my sports drink.
Give us some inspiration!I train and race because I can. I just want to take advantage of the opportunities that my body allows me to have. Not everyone is so fortunate and they would love to be doing what we get to do. So do it!!!
What is your single most important goal this year?I don't dare to tell, but it helps with motivation when I need it.
Complete this sentence: The thing I love most about competing is______________________.the mental rewards.

This month’s Traverse magazine did an awesome in-depth article on Priority Health team member Milan Baic. Even if you don’t know Milan it is a great read.
