Because Michigan is mainly a flat state, the racing in Michigan of course, is mainly on flat roads, favoring a bike racer with a strong sprint.

Cherry Roubaix 2011Wow, what a rush, final lap of this 63 mile category 3 road race sporting some nice climbs (at least for our state) about 500 yards from finish in the final turn, legs feeling good, well positioned at about 5th wheel, feeling good about my chances and then it happened
