What's your history?
I started cycling by doing organized tours with my dad, and I would always see how how many people I could pass in the course of a day. Thats when I first became interested in racing. I wanted to see how I would be against other competitive cyclists.
Tell us about a memorable race experience.
My first CAT5 race. It certainly wasnt my best, seeing as I got dropped in the first 2 laps, and eventually lapped. At the time I was frustrated, but I think it showed me a lot in just how much I was going to have to work to be able to race, and it showed me what I was getting myself into.
What are nutritional tips you use to gain optimum performance?
Hydration, Hydration, Hydration. Before, during, and even after a race to help drain your body of the lactate.

Give us some inspiration!
Everything is mental. A lot of athletes I know go into games saying "oh we are going to lose, this team is too good" But you have to remember, your oponents are just people like you are. They may be strong, but that doesnt mean they cant be beat

What is your single most important goal this year?
Win a Stage of the Tour of The Catskills

The thing I love most about competing is ____________.
beating someone that is stronger than me because I push myself farther mentally. Thats always satisfying because thats the hardest thing there is to do.
