What‘s your history? My first team was a mtn bike team Arcadia Brewing with Scott Steurer and Pete Skellenger. I was proud to finish 20th overall at Ore To Shore while on that team. My next team was Little Ceasars/KBC road team where I raced as a Cat 4 before catching the Olson's eye and joining PH.
Tell us about a memorable race experience.2009 45+ State Crit Championships, I won the sprint by coming from about 10back. I had no idea that this was even possible and it felt like magic!
What are nutritional tips you use to gain optimum performance?I use a protein powder with my cereal to keep up with the protein intake. Most amateur athletes are not getting enough protein according to many sources that I read. In winter I skip one meal a day to keep the weight down.
Give us some inspiration!I've seen people get hooked on cycling and lose 100lbs. in the first year! Cycling is a sport you can do old and young!
What is your single most important goal this year?Help 45+ Masters win the points series!!
Complete this sentence: The thing I love most about competing is______________________.that magical feeling when everthing is clicking and you feel like you can really fly!
