Tell us a little bit about yourself.
Had JRA when I was 6, 12, and 15, but lucky for me there was no lasting damage to my joints. Started running at 40 to get in shape. I was about 175 pounds at 40 and 11 years later I am mostly around 150. Have run at least 10 marathons including Boston twice, about 50 shorter races, and a few duathlons over the years for fun. Started dieting the first year to improve my running times, after 10 years I am still setting PRs in all distances. In 2010, I set PR in the marathon, 1/2, and 5k. I would not consider my self fast but usually finish in the top 10% of a race. My blood work is great these days, in 2009 my HDL was 87 and LDL 78, the company doing the testing at work did not remember the last person to have higher HDL. Last year in was HDL 95 LDL 102 (need to watch it). They said what ever I was doing, keep doing it.
What's your history?
