Priority Health Cycling Team Announces 2007 Sponsors

Grand Rapids, Mich. (December 19, 2006) — The Priority Health Cycling Team has earned additional industry sponsor support for 2007.  In addition to the lead sponsorship of Priority Health, a Grand Rapids-based health plan company, Bissell Inc., a home care company also based in Grand Rapids, has agreed to become the presenting sponsor.  Advantage Benefits will remain a key supporting sponsor.

"The Priority Health Cycling Team experienced fantastic results in 2006," said Mark Olson, the Priority Health Cycling Team Manager, "We really improved as a team and we are earning notable recognition throughout the cycling industry."

In addition to the Priority Health Cycling Team's major sponsors the Team was also able to add noteworthy partners including Pinarello, SRAM, First Endurance and Axley USA.  The Priority Health Cycling Team will also continue its sponsor relationships with Giordana, Easton, Bell, Winalda Litho, Emerald Spas, Schwalbe, Speedplay and DMT.

The Priority Health Cycling Team is one of only 15 International Cycling Union (UCI) Continental Teams in the United Sates.  In addition to the Priority Health UCI Continental team, there are three regional teams: a U23 Men's Team (under age 23), an Elite Women's Team, and an Elite Masters Men's Team (age 30+). A coed amateur club team completes the full Priority Health Cycling Team.
