(ANN ARBOR, Mich. – March 31, 2008) The Priority Health Women's Cycling Team will hold a Women's Bike Clinic on Saturday, April 19 at the Ellen Thompson Women's Health Center at Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor.
"Biking is great cardio exercise," said Dawn Lovejoy, the cycling team manager who lives in Ann Arbor. "Bike enthusiasts who have questions about conditioning, getting started in competitive racing or even maintaining your bike will get answers at this event."
The Women's Bike Clinic will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at the Ellen Thompson Women's Health Center on the campus of Saint Joseph Mercy Hospital-Ann Arbor. The event will occur rain or shine. The $30 cost includes lunch. Attendees should bring their bike. Register online at www.sjmercyhealth.org and click on “Classes & Events” from the menu on the left.
About the Cycling Team
The Priority Health Cycling Team is made up of three teams of semi-pro athletes who compete within the state of Michigan. The team includes a U23 Team – made up of young men and women looking to make the professional team, a Women's Team – made up of women of all ages with a passion for cycling and a Men's Elite Team – a diverse group of men competing throughout the state of Michigan.
