Saturdays criterium had a very small field, and to ensure that there would be no hiding, Robbie attacked the first lap, Teddy countered, and so on until Teddy got into a promising breakaway. Although the attacks never ended, with five laps remaining the break lapped the field. Robbie gave a killer two-lap leadout which Teddy used to maximum advantage, jumping everyone with two corners to go, and holding a strong lead to the finish. Furthermore, Teddy won a prime of a tub of Accelerade. It doesn’t get much better than that!
