I rode my bike inside meijer for two hours on saturday, in my home town, where highschool classmates now come with their husbands and children to buy groceries for the homes they live in.
I don't have a home.
or a husband
or children.
I have a bike, and I rode it through meijer. At first I felt very silly. But then I dove in with wreckless abandon, I made shoppers compete for t-shirts, answer game show questions for bracelets, and examined the innards of carts to decide who got bag tags.
Really: I have a bike, and I GOT to ride through meijer for two hours. Deciding who got to have my free stuff.
How many people get to that?
