The Most Important Race

Like anyone with a modicum of humanity in their soul, I was already deeply unnerved by the tragic and senseless shootings in Louisiana and Minnesota, when upon awakening Friday morning, the news of five police officers losing their lives in Dallas shook me to my core.

Inspiration…you never know who, what or how

As a fairly new rider, I look to my more experienced peers for inspiration. I know people that do century rides, ride big obstacles without fear and are super fast. They inspire me to work hard, try bigger things, and ride when I really would rather sleep in.

Ice baths and compression socks- CrossFit

This is a growing sport with a lot of heated arguments behind it. Bottom line: CrossFit has made me a faster and stronger runner.

Searching for Adventure!

Greetings! I am a new champion and am super excited to join the team! I’ve led a pretty active life, but am seeking out new challenges (cycling a century, running a trail race, and maybe my first 1/2 marathon!). I am also looking to go on more outdoors adventures hiking and camping.

Who is your inspiration?

As training season begins for my second year of races I am excited to pick out the events I want to attend. I plan on doing my usual distance of 5K for most of the races. I am training for the Fifth Third River Bank Run 10K. My longest race yet.
